Darling, my handbag is broken…
It’s good that you’re there as I wanted to talk with you about something that I find really a little bizarre. Judge for yourself:
As the holidays approach we often observe an uncanny phenomenon of ‘premature wear-out’ which our dear companions appear to be systematically victims of:
“Darling, it’s stupid, my handbag has just broken…”
“Because of that, we’re not going on holiday anymore, I’m sick of luggage that’s so flimsy….”
“It’s not worth me going out to work to fill up the wallet, I don’t have any money at all…”
…the classic little snares that oblige…
And even worse this year guys, bad luck all round…
… Louis has just arrived in Marrakech. A cynic would see a relationship of cause and effect between the poor handbag that’s just given up the ghost (even though it’s been gracing her shoulder for less than a month…) and the opening of the famous luxury brand in the Hivernage quarter. The boutique adjoins the future hotel Marrakech “Pearl”, the construction of which is being supervised by the well known architect Jacques Garcia, ‘genius designer’ of the new version of “La Mamounia” ( The legendary luxury hotel in Marrakech], among others!
For those who still haven’t guessed yet, I am of course speaking of the annoying Louis Vuitton…
Very annoying even, as apparently this boutique is one of the brand’s largest shops internationally. You’ve got it, that means a plethora of leather accessories, sunglasses, clothes and other useless trinkets, but all so beautiful…and all in one place…and so shiny, is the least we can say.
Apparently opening the boutique is also an affirmation of the brand’s interest in the juicy Moroccan market, blessed with a growing demand, but unfortunately also a market spoiled by the omnipresence of fake goods, a national sport in Morocco.
On the other hand, good news guys: no need to get up at dawn to go shopping as the boutique opens daily at 10.30am and is open all day until 7.30pm, except Sundays and bank holidays…not an easy job!
Well, ok, let’s talk budgets…even if I think that, in all honesty and sincerely and without any ambiguity, there’s no use in it.
Because our delicate feelings, our affection, our tireless love puts the legendary masculine nobility on the path of the beautiful and idyllic maxim:
“When you love someone, you don’t keep count!”
And yes ladies, if that’s not the case, it’s clear that this nobility remains beyond question!
At the same time, I’m going to speak with my bank manager, as he too, is very annoying…
