We will never insist enough on that point : the passport document is an obligation. If you don't have it, you take the risk to be refused either by the customs of your country and/or the Airline company, or by the Moroccon Police upon arrival in a Moroccan Airport, wherver it is !
In any case, you won't have anyway to complain...
The official currency in Morocco is the :
Moroccan Dhirams ( Dhs ou MAD ).
You can exchange English Pounds, Us Dollars, Australian Dollars in each banks. They are using their own and daily rate but included in a range managed by the "Bank Al Maghreb", the Central Bank of Morocco. In different places, you will also find some small change offices which are practical althought the rates used can by a little bit lower than the banks.
Since 5 years, the rates has been fluctuating between 12-14 dirhams per 1 £, between 7 and 8 Dhs per US 1$, and roughly the same for the Australian Dollar.
The only currency you can withdraw from all ATMs/cash Machins in Morocco is the Moroccan Dirhams.
Wherever you come from, we strongly recommend to change Moroccan Dirhams in Morocco rather than changing currency in your country, where you will be charged a lot of fees.
The difference can be very important.
In Morocco, the rate used at the airport is the same as downtown in an equivalent bank
The climate in Morocco is fery fair regarding quantity of sun, and leave only about 30 days of rain within a year. Rain is more about the second part of the winter and sometimes goes on at the beginning of March. As we can have about 5°C within a winter night and more than 60° under the sun during the summer, the difference between both is very important...
Warmest periods: Mid-june up til mid-september => Temperature range under shade is 30°C up to 50°C
Coldest periods: Mid-november til end of February => Temperature range under shade is 5°C up to 20°C
Best périods: Beginning of march til end of may, then Mid-september til mid-November => Temperature range under shade is 15° up to 30°
